brief. Greater Than a Tourist is a tourism guide series that focuses on advice given by and based on personal experiences of a local. The goal with this book was to write an informative yet fun text. Usually when in the market for a tourism guide you are looking for informative texts, but the format for greater than a tourist allows for creative writing based on personal experiences, which allowed me to "tell a story" instead of solely making suggestions.
